Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with adult critical care and ED experience for a night shift position at an acute care medical center in Tennessee.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
  • Adult patient population with a focus on critical care and neurological cases
  • Procedures include nebulized medication therapy (AeroEclipse, Aerobika flutter valves), chest percussion, bedside parameters (FVC/NIF) for neuro population, V60 BiPAP, Comfort Flow Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula systems, transport ventilators, Glidescope intubation and bronchoscopy, Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, bedside bronchoscopies, percutaneous tracheostomy, Radiometer ABL 90 Flex analyzers, nebulized Epoprostenol, and HeliOx services
  • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active RRT credential
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • TN state license required if applicable
  • Adult critical care and emergency department (ED) experience required

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are welcome to apply at a reduced rate
  • RTO requests during holidays or holiday weeks will not be accommodated; holiday RTO may be discussed directly with the manager after arriving onsite
  • Affected holidays include Independence Day (7/3–7/5), Labor Day (9/4–9/7), and others falling within the contract period
  • Bi-weekly orientation is provided
