Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience, working 12-hour night shifts.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week
- No block scheduling permitted
- No on-call requirements
- Every other weekend required
- Every other major holiday required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Charge nurse capability highly preferred
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; NURSYS verification report showing all licenses (past and present) must reflect an active current or conditional MA RN license
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Acute care experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 recent L&D Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics required
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
Additional Information
- Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- RTO must be submitted upfront; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed for the contract
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply at a local pay rate
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- An interview with the Clinical IVS team will be conducted
