Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care facility in Maysville, KY, with a primarily outpatient orthopedic caseload.

• Work setting is a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited facility in Maysville, KY
• Assignment is split approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient rehabilitation
• Patient population is predominantly adult outpatient orthopedic cases
• Common diagnoses include joint replacements, back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain
• Strict 1:1 patient ratio
• Shift is days, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday
• Weekend call required on a 1:4 rotation
• No float requirements

Requirements

• MSPT or DPT required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Strong outpatient orthopedic experience required, including back, neck, and shoulder conditions and joint replacements
• Some experience with general medical inpatients and joint surgeries preferred
• AHA certifications required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Supervisor is Owen Brown, PT
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
