Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Muscle Shoals, AL, requiring 2+ years of experience and skills in IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit (JW Sommer Rehab Unit) within a hospital setting
• 32-bed unit serving geriatric and adult patients
• Common diagnoses and treatments include strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro cases
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Required skills include IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Rehab nursing experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in IV therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Navy or royal blue scrubs required
• Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
