Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Step Down Unit position requiring prior travel experience, a CA RN license, and at least 2 years of telemetry experience.
Details
- Step down unit within an acute care hospital setting
- 12-hour day or night shifts (nights likely), scheduled 3 shifts per week on a 7-on/7-off rotation
- Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition required
- Tracheostomy care performed in this unit
- Floating to other campus locations within the same health system is required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- CIWA protocol knowledge and EKG/cardiac rhythm recognition experience required
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
- Tracheostomy care expertise required
- Prior travel nursing assignment required
- ACLS certification preferred
- PCCN certification preferred
