Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Step Down Unit position requiring prior travel experience, a CA RN license, and at least 2 years of telemetry experience.

Details

  • Step down unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • 12-hour day or night shifts (nights likely), scheduled 3 shifts per week on a 7-on/7-off rotation
  • Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
  • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition required
  • Tracheostomy care performed in this unit
  • Floating to other campus locations within the same health system is required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • CIWA protocol knowledge and EKG/cardiac rhythm recognition experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
  • Tracheostomy care expertise required
  • Prior travel nursing assignment required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • PCCN certification preferred
