Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in New Jersey, requiring an active NJ RN license and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit at an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active NJ RN license required (compact license accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments across the Labor & Delivery continuum of care
• Documents nursing processes, patient progress, and education in the patient chart using Epic
• Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and dual patient identification
• Provides patient and family education related to procedures, with individualized care planning
