Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience and active CA RN and Cerner proficiency.

• ICU setting
• Night shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week
• Cerner EMR is required; Epic experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Recent experience in the ICU specialty within the last 3 months required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Active, unrestricted nursing license with no prior hits or restrictions
• Two supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Date of birth, middle name, and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer — requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
• A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
• All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
