Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift position at a hospital-based radiology department, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience including Siemens scanner proficiency.
Details
- Work across two MRI sites on a rotating basis: one inpatient hospital setting and one outpatient imaging center in Peabody, MA
- 36-hour night shift schedule: Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 371-bed acute care hospital
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Floating between the two MRI sites is required
- Rotating shifts are required
- EMR: Epic (charting system)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross not accepted at this location)
- Siemens MRI scanner experience required
- Phlebotomy skills required
- Proficiency with Outlook and strong interpersonal skills
- Active MA license required if applicable — conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate
- Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidates' own expense
