Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a regional medical center
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Rotating schedule of 36/48 hours per two-week period (one week 3x12 shifts, the following week 4x12 shifts)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid Driver's License with address matching permanent residence required
• Two professional references required: one Charge Nurse or higher, and one supervisor — both completed within the last year
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Travelers who have worked within this health system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before returning
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; all RTO must be submitted upfront with no changes accepted after submission
• Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; paired travelers will not be placed on the same shift or unit
