Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring dual proficiency in both Epic and Cerner, with Balloon Pump and Impella experience, for an 8-week contract in California.

• 8-week contract supporting an Epic EMR conversion
• 3x12-hour day shifts
• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Experience with Balloon Pump and Impella required on unit

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
• Must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
• Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Cerner experience also required; must be proficient in both Epic and Cerner
• Balloon Pump and Impella experience required
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior license hits
• 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year, one from within the past two years
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is an Epic conversion contract — dual proficiency in both Cerner and Epic is essential to the role
• Orientation is available on either of two dates in August
• No RTO (time off) will be approved; candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
