Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for an 8-week night shift contract requiring active CA RN license and proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
• 8-week contract duration
• No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required, unrestricted and in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all American Heart Association), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required
• Recent ER experience within the last 3 months required
• Proficiency in both Epic and Cerner EMR systems required; minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
• Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Active, unrestricted RN license with no prior license hits
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is an Epic conversion contract — dual EMR proficiency in both Cerner and Epic is essential to this role
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO requested will not be considered
• Orientation is available on either August 3rd or August 17th
• A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
