Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift contract position requiring dual proficiency in both Epic and Cerner, with a valid CA RN license.

  • NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule
  • 8-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license, unrestricted and currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and Advanced NRP required
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience, with active practice in the specialty within the past 3 months
  • Proficiency in both Epic and Cerner required; minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
  • No prior disciplinary actions or hits on license
  • Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year (preferably most recent employer) and one from within the past two years
  • Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

  • No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this contract; candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
  • This is an Epic conversion contract, requiring staff comfortable working through an EMR transition
