Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 28-bed PCU unit in Goldsboro, NC, requiring 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• 28-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 20 telemetry beds and 8 step-down beds in a hospital setting
• Adult cardiac and med/surg patient population including CAD, CHF, and NSTEMI cases
• Patient ratio of 1:4–5 with approximately 3–4 admits per day
• Day shift, 7:00am–7:00pm, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
• On-call required as needed, approximately 1 shift per pay period
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and CPI-A
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
