Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab travel assignment in Louisiana.
Details
- Cardiac cath lab setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend requirement once every fifth week
- Call requirement of approximately 5–8 shifts depending on staffing levels
- Holiday coverage is required
- No float requirement
- Epic EMR experience required
- Phillips single-plane equipment experience required
- Siemens and bi-plane equipment experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
- Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Active BLS required
- Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days of fee payment and proof of ARRT certification)
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency with Phillips single-plane equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Any gaps in work history of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a local rate
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have a separation of at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
