Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center, requiring ARRT certification and a Virginia state license.

Details

• Inpatient hospital setting at an academic medical center
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call responsibility for one 8-hour shift every two weeks; call shifts may include weekday evenings (4:00 PM–12:00 AM), overnight (12:00 AM–8:00 AM), or weekend shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, or 12:00 AM–8:00 AM)
• Epic EMR experience is preferred; familiarity with the Carestream portable machine is also preferred

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required; candidates may be considered with licensure pending — those holding a license in another state may be eligible for a temporary VA license, otherwise standard processing time is approximately 8 weeks
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Former permanent staff of this facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates who have previously traveled to this facility must wait at least 12 months before returning
• Up to 40 hours of RTO are available per 13-week contract
• Any planned time off between signing and the start date should be communicated in advance to ensure an appropriate start date can be arranged
