Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical/Surgical unit (6N) of a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center and research hospital in St. Louis, MO
- Patient population includes ENT, plastics, cystic fibrosis (CF), general surgery, and general med/surg cases
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to other units within scope to care for med/surg patients
- Block scheduling available upon request
- Epic EMR required
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand or pending accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- The facility is a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy scrubs required
- Free on-site parking available
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application; any additional RTO requests after contract signing are at the manager's discretion
- Local candidates are not accepted
