Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract, covering inpatient, outpatient, ED, Fluoro, and OR general radiography.
Details
- General radiography department serving inpatient, outpatient, ED, fluoroscopy, and OR settings
- Daily caseload of 100–120 patients across 5 rooms
- Patient population includes adult ICU, NICU, and PICU cases
- Procedures include portables, C-arm, contrast studies, extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, and surgery/C-arm
- EMR systems include Epic (experience required) and McKesson
- Mixed weekly schedule: 2x12-hour shifts and 2x8-hour shifts; every other weekend is required
- Weekend shifts are 8 hours; the specific days (Saturday or Sunday) may vary based on the week cycle
- No call or float requirements
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification required
- Valid NH state license required (license required if applicable)
- AHA or Red Cross certifications only accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, OR, ER, and adult ICU settings
- Proficiency with PACS, portables, C-arm, contrast, fluoroscopy, and a full range of radiographic studies
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Orientation is conducted on day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Teaching hospital and community hospital experience, as well as familiarity with GE, Siemens, or Canon equipment, is preferred
- Professional references are required; candidates may be considered with a second reference still pending
- Former employees of any facility within the SolutionHealth system are not eligible for consideration, regardless of time elapsed since separation
