Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Illinois, welcoming first-time travelers with day shift scheduling and every other weekend requirements.
Details
- Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to other units required
- Charting performed in Epic
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
