Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with critical care and emergency experience for a night shift position at a hospital in the Chicago area.

Details

Inpatient hospital respiratory therapy unit
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
13-week contract
Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Critical care and emergency experience required
Proficiency in blood gas acquisition and analysis required
NBRC credential required: RRT or CRT accepted
Illinois (IL) state license required if applicable — pending license accepted
BLS certification required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted for this position
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the assignment
All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
