Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring telemetry skills and experience managing higher patient ratios on night shifts.

Details

• Works in a Medical Surgical unit with an oncology focus
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts preferred; 4x12-hour shifts will also be considered
• Block scheduling may be considered
• Patient ratios of 1:6 or 1:7
• Uses Cerner and Soarian EMR systems
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Experience managing higher patient ratios (1:6 or 1:7) required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV start experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Oncology experience is highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Cerner and Soarian EMR experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility
• Minimal to no RTO will be considered
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates residing between 31 and 50 miles may be eligible at a different pay rate
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
