Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Ortho/Neuro/Peds unit, requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting, serving an Ortho, Neuro, and Peds patient population
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
• Minimal to no time off requests during the assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license – GA state or compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts required
• Intermediate fetal monitoring (FM-Intermediate) skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, though travel experience is preferred
