Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Trauma Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, working 12-hour night shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Level III Trauma Center treating a broad patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• 30 private ED rooms, including a 6-room ED Observation Unit (EDOU), 6 fast track beds staffed by a PA for minor/non-urgent cases, 1 seclusion room, and 5 additional monitored rooms
• Averages approximately 100 patients per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Up to 5 support techs on staff during peak hours
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
• Charting via Allscripts Sunrise EMR
• Medication administration via Omnicell system

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC
• BSN not required

• Scrubs are not provided by the facility; any color scrubs are acceptable except all black
• 13-week contract
