Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position at an orthopedic institute in Missouri, working night shifts with a valid MO or compact RN license required.

Details

• 42-bed Medical-Surgical unit within an orthopedic hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating to other units is required
• 50% of holidays during the contract must be worked
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Cerner charting experience is preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in a Med/Surg setting
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront for consideration

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
• Routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is expected in this role
• The facility operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including during inclement weather
