Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical unit position, requiring at least 2 years of experience and ACLS/BLS/NIH certifications, working night shifts in a hospital setting.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Floating to other units is required
• Weekend work is required
• 50% of holidays occurring during the contract are required

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration, no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in a Med/Surg setting
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront

• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
• Candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible for the travel pay rate
• Role involves routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses
