Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with scrub experience in Cath Lab, interventional radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures for a 13-week assignment at an academic medical center in Ohio.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an academic medical center
- Procedures include interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and fluoroscopy-guided interventional procedures
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call every fourth weekend and one day per week
- Holiday coverage is on a call rotation basis
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
- Completion of formal radiological technology training from an AMA-approved school
- Active Ohio state radiologic technology license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience in Cath Lab scrubbing, interventional radiology procedures, and fluoroscopy
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and kneel frequently
- Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20, including color vision when applicable
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform fluoroscopy-guided Cath Lab and interventional radiology procedures as a procedural/scrub technologist
- Must be available to assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled

Training on th intermediate floor could be better. An actual list of how to do things. Floating to different units also can get annoying.
