Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in an Endo Prep/PACU unit, requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and PACU background.

Details

  • Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Endoscopy Prep and PACU unit within a large hospital setting (500+ bed facility)
  • Provides pre- and post-procedural care for adult patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
  • Uses Epic (Optime role)

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Maryland or Compact)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
  • PACU experience required
  • Dysrhythmia management experience required
  • Experience in a large hospital setting (500+ beds) required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Prior ICU experience preferred
  • Critical Care Certification preferred
  • Trauma course completion preferred
  • IV access/certification preferred (for Prep role)
  • 1–2 previous travel assignments preferred
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care to adult patients in the Endo Prep and PACU setting
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
