Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in an Endo Prep/PACU unit, requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and PACU background.
Details
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Endoscopy Prep and PACU unit within a large hospital setting (500+ bed facility)
- Provides pre- and post-procedural care for adult patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Uses Epic (Optime role)
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current RN experience required
- PACU experience required
- Dysrhythmia management experience required
- Experience in a large hospital setting (500+ beds) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Prior ICU experience preferred
- Critical Care Certification preferred
- Trauma course completion preferred
- IV access/certification preferred (for Prep role)
- 1–2 previous travel assignments preferred
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care to adult patients in the Endo Prep and PACU setting
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- 13-week contract
