Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac/Surgical ICU experience along with Cardiovascular Interventional Lab experience.
Details
- Located in a large hospital Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) encompassing both Cardiac Cath and EP Labs
- Schedule is Monday through Friday with four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours), with alternating/staggered shifts between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- No block scheduling — rotating days off with no set schedule
- On-call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays; approximately one weekend per month (every 4th weekend) plus 1–2 weekday call days
- On-call requires a 30-minute response time
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — Maryland (MD) or Compact license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac or Surgical ICU required
- Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) experience in Cath Lab and/or EP Lab required
- Moderate sedation experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience at a facility with 500+ beds required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active RN license required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
