Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist with IR or EVOR experience and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • Performs IR procedures and assists physicians with general vascular, coronary angiography, and special procedures
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM day shifts
  • 5x8-hour shifts per week
  • No on-call required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within IR or Special Procedures
  • IR or EVOR experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Training or experience in general vascular, coronary angiography, and catheterization preferred
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Perform IR procedures including general vascular and coronary angiography, catheterization, and special procedures in collaboration with physicians
  • Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
  • Copies of AHA certifications must be current and unexpired
