Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, with active CO or Compact RN licensure and night shift availability.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit at an acute care hospital in Golden, CO
• Night shift: 12-hour shifts from 1900–0730
• Schedule is 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Required certifications (must be AHA and must not expire prior to start date): BLS, NRP, and either C-EFM or AWHONN
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Responsibilities include patient health teaching, counseling, and referrals as needed
• Performs both independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
