Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a night shift diagnostic imaging position requiring an ARRT (R) certification and an Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited program.
Details
- Diagnostic radiology and imaging department at an acute care hospital in Louisville, KY
- Performs exams in the department, surgery, and at the bedside
- Uses Epic and IMPAX systems
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification
- BLS certification
- Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License — license required if applicable
- Proficiency with Epic and IMPAX systems
- MM/DD of DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Produces quality diagnostic images for Radiologist review and maintains accurate records
- Performs quality control on equipment and completes QC for assigned rooms
- Responsible for ordering and restocking supplies and linens, and reporting equipment malfunctions
- Verifies patient identity and orders, follows department protocol, and uses proper radiation protection for self and patient
- Assists the Radiologist with exams as needed
- Works under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader with minimal supervision
