Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (7:30–16:00)
- Weekday call required every other week from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- One weekend required every 12 weeks, subject to change based on unit needs
- Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units for which they are qualified
- Patient population includes diagnoses such as diabetes, cancer, PVD, carotid stenosis, hemorrhage, aneurysm, and ESRD
- Procedures include moderate sedation, prep and recovery for IR, neuroendovascular, and diagnostic cases, PACU recovery, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Medication system: Pyxis
- EMR: Epic (required)
Requirements
- Active RN license — SC or compact state license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- A copy of Driver's License and Social Security Number required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient prep and recovery for IR, neuroendovascular, and diagnostic procedures, as well as PACU-level recovery and moderate sedation monitoring
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the Prisma Health Greenville flagship campus to be eligible for this position
- First-time travelers will not be considered at this time
