Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position in Baton Rouge, LA, requiring prior travel experience and availability for rotating shifts across two campuses.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital-based Operating Room (OR)
  • Primary campus assignment with required rotation to a second campus location
  • Schedule is 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift hours: 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM, with rotating late shifts from 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Rotating late stays required twice per week
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required
  • Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

  • Must be available to work at both campus locations as required by scheduling
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position
  • 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
