Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of OR experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in a hospital-based Operating Room (OR) unit
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient nursing care in the OR
• Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient life and well-being
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• BSN preferred but not required
