Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Worcester, MA, requiring LDRP float pool experience and AWHONN certification at the intermediate level or above.

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• True LDRP position — assignment includes floating between L&D and Postpartum (PP) as part of a maternity float pool
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• AWHONN certification at intermediate level or above required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred (2 years considered with travel experience)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be willing and able to float between L&D and Postpartum
• 2 professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must have a clear nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Two pass/fail exams are administered at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam; each exam allows only one attempt, and a failed exam will result in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials will be provided prior to orientation exams
• RTO (time off) requests are limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted; the same bill rate applies regardless of proximity
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
