Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a General Surgical Floor position on a 28-bed unit with telemetry capability, requiring at least 1 year of experience and AHA BLS certification.
Details
- Work on a 28-bed general surgical floor (10E) in a hospital setting
- Adult general surgical patient population with telemetry capability
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Unit is supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients
- Night shift: 18:30–07:00
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (OK state or Compact) currently in hand
- BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Skills checklist required for consideration
Additional Information
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, records and communicates patient condition, and carries out physician and nursing orders
- Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
