Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 17-week IMCU Stepdown contract requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of experience on night shifts.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU
- Patient population includes vented patients and those requiring critical drips
- Patient ratio is 3:1
- Proficiency in medication management is essential for this unit
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a
- Charting system: MEDITECH
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN is not required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (distance measured from address on driver's license)
Additional Information
- Candidates must not have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months
- RTO and scheduling requests are honored only if submitted and confirmed at the time of assignment start
- Orientation is 16 hours
