Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring active KS licensure and at least one year of recent acute care Cath Lab experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Lab (Cath Lab) unit of a hospital setting
• 4-bed unit staffed with 12 team members, including 3 techs and 9 RNs (2 travelers) on day shift
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Utilizes Phillips Fluoro equipment
• Charting is done in Mac Lab/Meditech
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities include one night per week and one weekend per month

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Mac Lab and Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting
• Work alongside a team of experienced techs and RNs in a collaborative unit environment
• Ideal candidates are hardworking and easygoing
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
