Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in New York, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and a NY RN license.

Details

Hospital emergency department setting
Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

Active NY RN license required
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
Minimum 3 years of RN experience in an emergency department
AAS degree from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
Two references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager from within the past year and within the ED specialty

Additional Information

Holiday coverage required on assigned holidays
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
