Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Long Term Care position at a skilled nursing facility in Wisconsin, working full-time PM shifts with every other weekend requirement.

Details

• Long-term care setting in a skilled nursing facility/nursing home environment
• PM shift hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Full-time schedule working every other weekend
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred
• 1+ years of related RN experience preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include resident assessments, medication administration following the 5 Rights, wound care and assessments, and monitoring residents for changes in condition
• Acts as a floor leader by assessing and directing clinical situations as needed
• Communicates significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and other relevant parties in a timely manner
• Assists CNAs with call lights and supports the care team as needed
• Maintains accurate and thorough resident records and charting
• Required to report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
