Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a night shift radiology ultrasound position requiring ARDMS registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience in adult and pediatric imaging.

Details

• Radiology Ultrasound department in a hospital setting, Bramhall Campus
• Covers overnight ED and inpatient ultrasound services as the sole sonographer on shift
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Night shift: 11:30 PM – 8:30 AM (9-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week, scheduled 8 shifts on / 6 shifts off
• Every other weekend required
• Float policy requires availability to work at facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• ARDMS registration required
• Registration in AB preferred; RVT a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience
• Experience in both adult and pediatric imaging required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provides solo overnight ultrasound coverage for the Emergency Department and inpatient services
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should be prepared to disclose this during the consideration process
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may not be eligible for renewals or extensions
• Personal devices including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones are not permitted on the unit
