Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for a night shift radiology ultrasound position requiring ARDMS registration and a minimum of 2 years of experience in adult and pediatric imaging.
Details
- Radiology Ultrasound department in a hospital setting, Bramhall Campus
- Covers overnight ED and inpatient ultrasound services as the sole sonographer on shift
- Adult and pediatric patient population
- Night shift: 11:30 PM – 8:30 AM (9-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week, scheduled 8 shifts on / 6 shifts off
- Every other weekend required
- Float policy requires availability to work at facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
Requirements
- ARDMS registration required
- Registration in AB preferred; RVT a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience
- Experience in both adult and pediatric imaging required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provides solo overnight ultrasound coverage for the Emergency Department and inpatient services
- Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should be prepared to disclose this during the consideration process
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may not be eligible for renewals or extensions
- Personal devices including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones are not permitted on the unit
