Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for a diverse inpatient population.

Acute care hospital inpatient setting
Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
10-week contract

Requirements

Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification
Experience in acute care hospital setting
Proficiency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge coordination

Additional Information

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care with measurable outcomes
Complete accurate and timely patient documentation reflecting treatment responses and care plan changes
Coordinate patient and family education, equipment needs, and discharge planning based on identified needs
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, initiating consults as appropriate
Candidates must be nicotine-free
Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a reduced pay rate compared to the travel rate
