Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including ortho, breast/plastics, urology, GYN, and general surgery.
Details
- Outpatient Pavilion OR setting with 6 operating rooms and an average daily census of 35
- Surgical specialties include General, GYN, Breast/Plastics, Urology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Ophthalmology
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00–15:30
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Late stay sign-up required in lieu of traditional on-call
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand prior to consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and CNOR certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Proficiency across multiple surgical specialties, particularly ortho, breast/plastics, urology, GYN, and general surgery
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
- All requested RTO must be submitted upfront, as no RTO will be approved after an offer is made
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical or religious exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines
- COVID-19 vaccination or a qualified exemption is required
- This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility
