Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TN or compact RN license, with prior travel experience required.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a large hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM); a 4x12 (48-hour) schedule may also be available
• Weekend rotation required as needed
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occasionally be required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required (3+ years preferred)
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible
• ADN degree minimum required for this position
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Large hospital experience is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests made after an offer is extended will need to be arranged directly with the unit manager or scheduler
• If an assignment spans end-of-year holidays, travelers must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall during the assignment, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment period
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return in a travel capacity
