Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pulmonary function lab experience for a Monday–Friday day shift position at an academic medical center.
Details
- Pulmonary Function Lab setting within a large academic medical center
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- No weekends required
- No on-call requirement
- Epic EMR (preferred)
- 13-week contract
- Orientation held bi-weekly
Requirements
- Current NC RRT license or Compact license in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience; 2 years highly preferred
- Pulmonary function lab experience is a hard requirement and must be documented in work history
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- 1 supervisory reference from within the past year required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required seasonally (October 31–March 31); no exemptions accepted

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Perform pulmonary function testing and diagnostics as part of a specialized respiratory therapy team
