Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Milwaukee, WI, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology department with 2 general rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, and 2 ED rooms
• Patient types include fluoroscopy, trauma, general radiology, and OR cases
• Charting and imaging systems include Epic (EMR), McKesson PACS, Alaris, and Pyxis
• 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hours/week)
• Weekend shift schedule
• Holidays are covered if they fall on a scheduled shift
• Portables throughout the facility required; travelers are called upon first to float

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of core radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Experience with fluoroscopy, trauma, general radiology, and OR imaging
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• Wisconsin Radiology license required if applicable
• 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year
• COVID vaccine required
• Candidate middle name or initial, DOB, and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Located in Milwaukee, WI at a 228-bed Level IV Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Advance Comprehensive Stroke Center, and teaching hospital
• Free parking available in designated employee areas
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; denim, camouflage, and non-professional attire are not permitted
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for this travel assignment
