Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Maysville, KY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in left/right heart catheterization, FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures.

Details

• Located in a 100-bed, acute care, Joint Commission accredited hospital in Maysville, KY
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit serving an adult patient population
• Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• On-call required every 3rd weekday and every 3rd weekend
• Weekend hours are per call
• No floating required
• MacLab is the EHR used in this unit (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued cards required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
• Proficiency in left/right heart catheterization (L/R HC), FFR, IVUS, and peripheral procedures
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
• Navy or royal blue scrubs required; open-toed footwear is not permitted
• MacLab EHR experience is preferred
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
