Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Beckley, WV, requiring at least one year of endoscopy experience and proficiency with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.
Details
- GI/Endoscopy unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 4-bed unit focused on endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed
- On-call responsibilities required as needed
- Floating required as needed
- EMR: Meditech
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in WV or a compact state license
- Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience required
- Hands-on experience with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Hospital is a Level 3 Trauma Center accredited by The Joint Commission
- Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays
- Navy blue scrubs required; hospital OR scrubs are also acceptable — casual wear is not permitted
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
