Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg ICU Days position at an acute care facility in Iowa, requiring an active IA or compact RN license and current ACLS certification.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 7AM–7PM
• 13-week contract
• Multi-specialty unit covering ICU, adult med/surg, mother/baby, ortho, and pediatric patient populations
• Patient age range spans neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Requirements

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state license currently in good standing required
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS (Heart Code) required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
