Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of experience and BLS certification for a 13-week home health assignment in Santa Maria, CA.

Details

Home health care setting in a post-acute care environment
Speech Pathology unit focused on home health SLP services
Cerner EMR used for documentation
Day shift, 8 hours per day
13-week contract

Requirements

Active and unrestricted SLP license for the state of California — license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
Valid driver's license required for consideration
2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
Orientation is 12 hours
