Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a general sonography position, with 2+ years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a general ultrasound/sonography unit
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Philips ultrasound systems used
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Shifts are scheduled Friday through Sunday
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general ultrasound/sonography
- Proficiency with Philips ultrasound systems
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may impact the review process
- All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
